TM BOOKS & VIDEO’S “THE GREAT TRAIN STORY”
Fall 2005
TM Books & Video's "The Great Train Story" featuring the SMARTT -built layout at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry HO layout that opened in Fall 2002. SMARTT fabricated all trackwork, benchwork, electrical work, and interactive animated accessories. We also built every railroad-bridge including the mammoth 14 foot long arched truss bridge which is the centerpiece of the layout. SMARTT also built every Chicago area municipal-bridge, the Chicago subway station, and the operating replica of the famous Chicago CTA El-train.
